What Do April Showers Bring?

Dear Friends and Fans of Celtic Music,

Spring Greetings! As we prepare to depart on our Ireland tour, we are thinking of everyone who came out to our CD release parties to celebrate the new album, "These Are the Days". You truly warmed our hearts with your overwhelming support. And to those who could be there in spirit only. . . we hope to catch up with you all sometime in 2016.

Radio News!  "These Are the Days" took the #1 Top Album spot on the January Folk-DJ Charts!

In the January Top Songs category, the album landed the #1, #2, and #4 spots for “Madam I’m a Darling,”  “The Mountain," and “Another Day."

Our gratitude goes out to the international Folk-DJ Community for all those spins!

And this week, we are thrilled to announce that two tracks from the new CD are featured on Fiona Ritchie's "Thistle and Shamrock" program on NPR. The program is entitled "More New Spring Sounds."  Listen to it here

In related news, Gene Shay, a.k.a. “the Dean of American Folk DJ’s”, will emcee our April 23rd show at the Landhaven Concert Series in Barto, PA.

Gene Shay, a founder of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, retired from radio in 2015, after more than 50 years of hosting folk radio programming. Hosting occasional shows at Landhaven is a continuation of his life’s work; promoting folk music and musicians. We are thrilled and honored to be presented by Gene.

P.S. In case you haven't heard, Rose has teamed up with Brian Buchanan (Enter the Haggis) for a side project called "House of Hamill." They are developing an edgy Celtic folk-fusion sound, writing unusual new fiddle tunes and breathing new life into traditional and contemporary songs. Please check out their website, like them on Facebook, and cheer them on at their shows!
